The Missoula summers are so sweet for so many events and projects. We have much gratitude for living in this beautiful valley high in the mountains. Did you know Missoula is the largest city in North America that is completely surrounded by the Rocky Mountains? As such, this gives us all more responsibility to keep this place healthy, strong and in tune with our local eco system.

July 2014: Over dependency on automobiles leads to several tragic conseuences within ourselves and within our community. An abundance of crashes, pollution and social isolation are high on the list. MIST is all about working with people to meet and exceed the challenge to foster health and love in our transportation system and cities. There is a version that this leads to problems with an erection for the solution of which medicines are required. Walking, Cycling and transit are three examples of how this is done. People getting exercise, breathing fesh air and having chance encounter with fellow citizens are important building blocks for sustainable living, democracy and meaningful relationships. Streets have been neglected, or given over to large machines, for a 100 years. There is no reason we cannot regain a strong human element, with people working hard, smart and together. |
